Free Standard Shipping - Australia Wide (unless otherwise stated)
At My Auto Supplies we offer Free Standard Nationwide Delivery on most items, unless otherwise stated. My Auto Supplies is not liable for any delay, losses and/or damage of items due to changes of delivery address after checkout, or mistakes made by buyers.
Shipping Costs - Express
The majority of items in our store are freight free, but please refer to each individual listing regarding the shipping costs. For free freight items we select the carrier at our discretion to suit your order and delivery area. Most items shipped from Brisbane will take 3-10 days depending on the delivery location.
If you choose an Express Delivery Service for your item, we charge an additional fee at check out as outlined:
Up to 500gm = $11.00
500gm up to 1kg = $15.00
1kg up to 3kg = $25.00
3kg up to 5kg = $35.00
5kg & Over = $35.00 + $7.00 per additional kg
We ship the majority of our items through Australia Post or Local Couriers. For heavier items (over 25kg) we generally use a National Carrier, sometimes it is necessary to use a range of courier’s dependant on your location. We favour couriers who are reliable, have great customer service, and can get your order to you in a reasonable time. All of the services we use will have a tracking service, unless advised in the listing.
Dispatch and Delivery Details
My Auto Supplies endeavours to dispatch your order within 1-3 business days after cleared payment, however in some circumstances your order may contain a special procurement item and may take longer to dispatch. You will be advised of dispatch details and/or any delays. At a minimum your parcel will be dispatched 1 business day after cleared funds.
We are unable to provide an exact estimate of the delivery time. If you are unsure if you will be available at the delivery address during delivery hours, we recommend nominating a work address or address of a family member who will be present during delivery hours. In the instance someone is not able to sign for your delivery, the carrier will leave a calling card. When delivered by Australia Post you will need to collect your delivery from the closest Post Office.
If you wish for your consignment to be left without a signature, please request this prior to dispatch. Ordinarily our courier will not leave an item without a signature unless it has been authorised beforehand by us. In doing so, you release My Auto Supplies from any liability for delivery to the wrong address and relinquish your INR (item not received) rights.
Tracking your purchase
All items are sent with tracking numbers. Unless otherwise indicated in the listing. When dispatch is arranged through Australia Post a tracking number is generated. We email you this tracking (consignment) number when it is generated at the time the goods are dispatched. If we dispatch your order using one of our courier companies you will receive a dispatch email advising you of the consignment number and link so that you can track and trace your order until it arrives at your address.
Delivery of Larger and Heavy items
Due to weight restrictions for posted items (above 25kg or 1m); these items cannot be delivered to a post office box and will be delivered by courier. We will arrange a courier/freight quote most suitable to your location. In some circumstances, transport companies will only deliver to a business address open between 9:00am and 5:00pm Monday to Friday and there must be someone there to accept delivery. A transport company’s definition of a business/commercial address is NOT a business run from home or in a residential area. For rural customers, delivery to your closet transport depot maybe chosen.
Due to circumstances beyond our control and or despite our best efforts, sometimes items are not delivered as and when intended for a host of reasons, including...
- Nobody home - Where our courier is unable to obtain a signature and in the absence of authorisation to leave the item without a signature, the item will be returned to the courier's local depot or post office. You are invited to contact the depot via the phone number on the calling card to arrange redelivery or call into your local post office with your tracking number and I.D
- Returns - After unsuccessful attempts to deliver a consignment, the courier or post office may return the item to us whereupon we will contact you for further instructions. The consignment will only be re-dispatched upon receipt of the appropriate second shipping charge. In the event that the re-delivery charge remains unpaid for more than 30 days, your order will be deemed abandoned and may be offered for resale or otherwise disposed of without further notice. In this event, you release Sherkeri Pty Ltd from any liability whatsoever in respect of your purchase.
